Step 1
Preheat oven to 375°F.

Heat olive oil in a large Skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 8 minutes.

Add tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, oregano, rosemary, and black pepper. Cook for 1 minute.

Add beef broth and bring to a simmer.

In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch and 2 tablespoons of water. Add to the Skillet and stir until thickened, about 2 minutes.

Add frozen vegetables and stir to combine.

Transfer the mixture to a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Spread mashed potatoes over the top of the beef mixture.

Sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
